Hi, there! Welcome to Kashvie, online, and my first ever blog. This online platform is a result of decades of dreaming – with open eyes! Yes, it has taken a long time but as they say, better late than never.
Kashvie is not only a mini-world of style, color, and clothes but also a treasure house for gifting options for your loved ones. The website is to facilitate online shopping and requesting bespoke clothing but more than that it is here to reach out to more like-minded individuals. We would like to listen to them and understand them better and provide creative solutions accordingly.
Kashvie is a result of many years of hard work and perseverance. It started in March 1992 when I decided to offer Home linen and Nightwear for women. A chance meeting with an expert Master (Pattern maker) / Tailor encouraged me to start with bespoke tailoring. Thus, the journey began! Some of us still proudly possess the first few pieces of clothing stitched to perfection by Master Shafiq.
Back then, few had access to computers and designing on it was a novelty. Family and friends helped in sourcing of products and designing the brochure – the pattern on which was a replica of the border of one of my favourite sarees!
So, we were all set with the lit up signage, business cards, brochures and coverage in the Vasant Kunj Informer & Shopper – newly started by Neeraj and Chitra Singh. The young and enthusiastic entrepreneurs personally visited the store and interviewed me. My dream had started taking shape and it was aptly called Expressions by Bindu Paul.
Vasant Kunj, in particular, and the Indian Market, in general, has experienced a lot of changes since March 1992. Ready to wear apparel is available in plenty. Our basic concept of bespoke tailoring has helped us cater to the niche clientele at all times. The choice of fabrics available in our store has always delighted the discerning customer.
We still love to indulge our friends cum clients from the Spring of 1992 and are grateful for their support and patronage. In all these years, we have prided ourselves for the relationships that we have built while working for our clients.
